The origins of the Maiwand Family are in Afghanistan, though political unrest and ensuing wars forced us out of our homeland. Today most of us are scattered across all continents.

About This Site

The Maiwand site has been in existence since 1998. On a family trip to California in August of that year, our cousin Masud Osman who was hot and heavy into GNET, got us interested in the subject. He actually registered the domain in our name and got us a hosting service.
